Bill Birck
President & CEO
Bill Birck, President & CEO of Reed Construction, joined the construction firm in 2000, and is the fifth generation heading the family-owned company established in 1893. He is responsible for managing the company’s operations, providing leadership for its growth and success, and for maintaining Reed’s renowned on-time and on-budget completion record. Bill’s leadership is best exemplified by the firm’s steadfast dedication to quality workmanship, professional management and ethical conduct.
Bill believes that the success of a firm is directly related to the quality of its staff, and as such continually reinvests in the company to maintain a highly qualified and knowledgeable professional team. His expertise, integrity, and commitment are among the many reasons for the firm’s success, including employee retention and customer loyalty.
Beverly Birck
Partner
Beverly Birck brings more than 25 years of industry expertise, vision, and leadership to her role as Partner at Reed Custom Builders. Working alongside her husband and business partner, Bill Birck, Beverly has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth, culture, and longstanding commitment to excellence.
Deeply invested in both the built environment and the broader community, Beverly founded the Reed Construction Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting local causes and creating meaningful impact beyond the jobsite. Her philanthropic spirit also extends to her work on the Women’s Board of Rush University Medical Center, where she champions healthcare initiatives throughout Chicago.
Beverly’s unique perspective, business insight, and passion for service continue to guide Reed’s approach to building — one rooted in quality, integrity, and lasting relationships.
Patrick Green
Vice President of Business Development
Patrick is extremely passionate about real estate and construction, especially because it nurtures a greater understanding of multiple industries and seeing how businesses work. This zeal for building relationships and learning is constantly evident in the work he contributes to the greater team’s success, as he believes learning and working hand-in-hand with the whole team is the key differentiator in a successful outcome for all.
As Vice President of Business Development & Marketing, he enjoys building relationships with various individuals and focuses on finding ways to help grow their business goals. With years of experience from different angles of the construction industry, including recruiting and selling construction software services, he has gained a unique perspective and understanding of the industry as a whole.
Joe Kozlowski

With nearly 18 years of experience in the construction industry, Joe Kozlowski brings a deep well of knowledge, leadership, and versatility to his role as Vice President, Director of Operations at Reed Custom Builders. Throughout his career, Joe has contributed to a wide range of project types—from residential and interior renovations to ground-up builds, site development, infrastructure upgrades, and specialty work in sectors such as healthcare and life sciences.
